Operations Regions United Civil Rights Councils of America >> Operations Regions
  (+)  Geography:  The seven Regions are arranged to maximize each area's geographic and population potential. Six of the Regions have seven (7) States each, while Region 2, the most sparsely populated area of our Nation, takes the extra eighth State. Five of the Regions have approx 50 million people.
  (+)  Organization:  Each Operations Region has its own Membership Director, plus five Coordinators. The five Coordinators are responsible for the ten main Focus Areas within their Region, by handling two Focus Areas apiece. As a group, they guide their entire Region's total set of state and county leaders.

(+) Organizational: With responsibility over different groups of States, than are found in the Regions, the eleven Circuit Teams are purposely aligned in parallel with the federal court system, each of the 11 Teams managing other Scholars under their own same jurisdictions.
